1. Acceptance of TermsBy downloading, installing, or using the Dosedown app ("the App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using the App and delete it from your device.
2. Description of ServiceDosedown provides a personal organizational tool for tracking SSRI tapering progress, including mood logging, symptom tracking, and dosage scheduling based on user input. The App is designed strictly for informational and organizational purposes. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
3. Medical DisclaimerIMPORTANT: Dosedown is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Tapering or discontinuing SSRI medication without proper medical supervision can cause serious withdrawal symptoms and health risks. You MUST consult your prescribing physician or a qualified healthcare professional before making ANY changes to your medication, dosage, or tapering schedule. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by this App.
4. No Doctor-Patient RelationshipUse of the App does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and Nordic Social Media AB or any of its employees, contractors, or affiliates. The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
5. Assumption of RiskYou acknowledge and agree that any decision to alter, taper, reduce, or discontinue medication is made entirely at your own risk and discretion. You understand that SSRI withdrawal can cause serious physical and psychological symptoms including, but not limited to, dizziness, nausea, insomnia, irritability, anxiety, depression, and in rare cases, suicidal ideation. You assume full responsibility for any and all consequences arising from your use of the App and any medication changes you make.
6. User ResponsibilitiesYou are solely responsible for: (a) the accuracy of all data you enter into the App; (b) consulting a qualified healthcare professional before and during any medication changes; (c) following your physician's advice over any suggestion, schedule, or information provided by the App; (d) seeking immediate medical attention if you experience adverse symptoms during tapering. The App's suggestions and schedules are generic tools and may not be appropriate for your individual medical situation.
7. Limitation of LiabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nordic Social Media AB, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall NOT be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages for personal injury, bodily harm, emotional distress, loss of health, hospitalization costs, death, or any other damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if Nordic Social Media AB has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. IndemnificationYou agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nordic Social Media AB and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the App; (b) any medication changes you make while using the App; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
9. Subscriptions & PaymentsCertain features of the App require a paid subscription. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings.
10. Governing LawThese Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.
11. Changes to TermsWe reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
